AVL is a leading mobility technology company for development, simulation and testing in the automotive industry, with offices globally. The discussion addressed the myriad factors in bringing autonomy to our roads, roaming across passenger cars, robotaxi’s, and driverless trucks. During Manifest 2024 in Las Vegas, I was pleased to moderate a fascinating conversation about the regulatory and collaboration scene regarding EV and AV trucks. Our panelists were Sean Waters of Daimler Truck North America, Ariel Wolf of Venable LLP / AVIA, Matt McLelland of Covenant, and Matt Schrap of Harbor Trucking Association.
